ISO/TS 16949
Dixien has operated as an ISO 9001 and QS9000 company before the evolution of the automotive industry into a more stringent quality management system known as ISO/TS16949. Dixien was certified as TS16949:2002 in 2004 and updated to ISO/TS16949:2009 in 2009.
Dixien is also familiar with the VDA system which expands upon the already vast ISO/TS16949. Dixien has successfully completed audits under VDA 6.3 and possesses the knowledge to meet customer specific requirements under the VDA system.

Continual Improvement
Continual improvement is a critical aspect of Dixien’s culture… A cross functional team activity pursues improvements in manufacturability, cost reduction and error proofing.
We have also embraced Six Sigma and implemented a training program that utilizes resources from universities in Georgia and Alabama as well as those made available to us by some OEM customers.
LAB
Dixien’s quality lab is fully equipped with all necessary tools to guarantee the quality of our customer’s products. Our state of the art Brown & Sharpe CMM equipment is housed in a controlled environment adjacent to our tool shop and with overhead crane capability that allows for tools sections and fixtures to be measured.
