Dixien is a privately held full service manufacturer of metal stampings, welded assemblies, plastic components and fabricated metal components.
Headquarters are located in Lake City, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta and also home to the company’s Metals Division, where more than 50 metal stamping presses, and 30 welding centers are housed in two manufacturing facilities exceeding 200,000 SF, from which Dixien services the demands of some of the largest automotive and outdoor power equipment Original Equipment Manufacturers in the world, as well as some of the best known automotive Tier 1 suppliers.
The Plastics Division is located in Warner Robins, Georgia and it specializes in injection molding, operating 24 injection molding presses equipped with state-of-the-art robotic and in-mold decal systems. 140,000 square foot plant serves the needs of automotive and outdoor power equipment customers.
Dixien operates a full service tool shop that has been in continuous operation over 25 years. A newly established joint venture in China provides customers with very competitive tooling prices without sacrificing the quality for which Dixien is known. Dixien performs all maintenance, repairs and engineering changes in-house for all customer stamping tools, as well as injection molds and fixtures.
Dixien has been an automotive OEM supplier since 1984 and a supplier to the outdoor power equipment industry since 1985 with a customer base that includes BMW, Ford, Nissan, Honda, Husqvarna and others.
Dixien is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and operates within the ISO/TS 16949 quality management system and in compliance with the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
